I painted that! It is real art that I did that is hanging in my kitchen!
Yes, it is a copy of “Four Ice Cream Cones” by Wayne Thiebaud. Okay, it’s my interpretation of it because it’s definitely not an exact copy. I went to a paint and wine event by ArtSocial with my good friend Liz. They provided instruction and we each did our best to paint a copy of Thiebaud’s ice cream cones wile having a glass of merlot.
Some people just went off and did their own thing. Other people did more . . . abstract . . . versions of the ice cream cones. You could really do whatever you wanted. Our two pieces are below, me on the left, Liz on the right.
We also did our best to have a drink and a good time. I highly recommend these paint and wine nights. It was a ton of fun!
